Marta Maria Ceynowa, a Polish artist, transcends conventional boundaries with a background in photography, yoga, and a diverse professional journey. Ceynowa’s artistic prowess reflects a unique blend of traditional processes and modern technologies.

A graduate with honors in Photography from the University of East London, Ceynowa’s academic journey didn’t stop there. She delved into the Traditions of Yoga and Meditations at SOAS, University of London, showcasing a multifaceted approach to life and art. Her diverse experiences include stints at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery, contributing to the iconic British Vogue, and sharing her knowledge as a Guest Lecturer at the University of East London. Currently residing in the enchanting Parisian region, Ceynowa’s journey has been a tapestry of cultural and artistic exploration spanning nine years in London.

As a creative freelancer, Ceynowa doesn’t limit herself to a specific medium. Her artistic repertoire embraces mixed media, seamlessly combining traditional techniques such as photography, painting, and drawing with the nuances of digital technologies. It’s this amalgamation that defines her as an eclectic artist, someone unafraid to traverse the uncharted territories of artistic expression.

One of Ceynowa’s works, titled “Abstraction #4,” serves as a gateway into her distinctive artistic philosophy. This abstract series serves as a captivating exploration of the intersection between photography and painting. Ceynowa skillfully navigates the realms of subjectivity, probing into the intricacies of individual color perception, imagination, and creativity. The series becomes a testament to the malleability of the mind and its ability to transcend reality through the transformative power of art.

The creation of “Abstraction #4” is a testament to Ceynowa’s ingenuity. Employing mixed media techniques, she constructs her own unique, abstract negatives using painting. The journey continues as she develops these abstract negatives in a color darkroom, employing camera-less photographic processes. The result is a mesmerizing visual symphony that blurs the lines between the tangible and the abstract.

For Ceynowa, art is not merely a visual spectacle; it’s a medium through which she seeks to transcend the ordinary. Her work goes beyond the surface, aiming to induce a meditative experience and transcend reality. The ultimate goal? Enlightenment through art—a lofty aspiration that underscores the profound impact she hopes her creations will have on those who engage with them.

In an exciting development, Ceynowa is set to venture into the world of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). With plans to launch some of her work in February 2024, she joins the growing cohort of artists embracing the digital realm to showcase their creations. This move not only underscores her adaptability.

Marta Maria Ceynowa’s artistic journey is a testament to the power of exploration and the seamless fusion of diverse elements. Her work beckons viewers to embark on a contemplative journey, challenging preconceived notions and inviting them to see the world through a different lens.
