Zoe Saldana’s Beverly Hills home just landed on the market for $16.5 million, and it’s full of chic custom details that the Avatar actor added during her seven-year tenure at the property. The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom manse is located in a guard-gated enclave that has attracted high-profile buyers including Adele and Jennifer Lawrence. In fact, Kimora Lee Simmons previously owned Saldana’s particular plot, which boasts a tennis court and a well-equipped backyard with a serene swimming pool and a pergola-topped outdoor kitchen and dining space.

In 2019, the Star Trek actor described the interior of the 1974-built home as “Italian ’60s modern” in an interview with AD. It shouldn’t be a surprise, then, that curvy furniture is plentiful in the listing photos, as well as a playful use of color, striking polished stone, and tons of custom wood details.

Saldana, along with her husband of 10 years, artist Marco Perego-Saldana, included pieces by iconic Italian designers including Alessandro Becchi and Gio Ponti. “What we couldn’t afford, we were able to design with carpenters either in Italy or here in Los Angeles that have the art history to get inspiration from a Vincenzo De Cotiis piece and create a piece of furniture for us that we’re going to love to live with,” she told AD.

Despite her status as the only actor to star in four of the highest-grossing films ever released (Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way of Water make up the top three, with Avengers: Infinity War coming in sixth place), Saldana has kept a pretty low profile when it comes to real estate. Shortly before getting hitched in 2013, the Guardians of the Galaxy star sold a $1.15 million Los Feliz home and in 2016 offloaded her pre-fame co-op in the Kew Gardens area of Queens for $280,000. It’s not clear where Saldana is headed now, but if the interiors of her Beverly Hills pad are any indication, her next property is sure to be full of inspiring design.
