Myriam Bussiere, born on August 3, 1985, in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, found her passion for painting at a young age under the guidance of her grandmother. In 2018, her journey took a significant turn when she crossed paths with Mélanie Poirier, an artist and gallerist at Galerie mp tresart in Durham-Sud, Quebec. In 2020, Bussiere made her monumental mural, “TRUE LOVE,” crafted from 157 gallons of recycled paint, adorning the walls of Galerie mp tresart. Together, they conceived “HISTORY WITHOUT END,” a captivating mural measuring 5 x 6 feet, adorned with around sixty used books sourced from various corners of imagination. Each book, weathered by time and enriched with stories untold, became a canvas for their creative expression.
As Bussiere and Poirier delicately wove their brushes across the pages, they breathed new life into the worn volumes, infusing them with vibrant colors and intricate designs. The mural became a tapestry of narratives, where history intertwined with fantasy, and reality danced with imagination.
