In early December, Art in America, ARTnews and Robb Report held the third annual “Art of Luxury” series coinciding with Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach.

The event was held at Beach House 8, a luxury condominium. After enjoying some bites, wine by Force & Grace, and viewing the sunset poolside, guests took in an interesting conversation led by ARTnews editor-in-chief Sarah Douglas. The discussion, including award-winning architect Marieanne Khoury-Vogt, principal at Khoury-Vogt Architects and town architect for Alys Beach, and  Max Fishko, principal at Fishko Inc., examined how one builds a space that makes people react in a certain way.

Beyond the talk, guests were invited to try out a Hästens’ handmade mattress, view a selection of the world’s most iconic and luxurious model cars created by Amalgam Collection, enjoy a fireside chat with Force & Grace winemaker, Jean Hoefliger, and see a video preview of the Alys Beach property. Guests were gifted an Alys Beach tote including a silk scarf and had the chance to win a three-night stay during Alys Beach’s Digital Graffiti Festival.
